WhatsApp is rolling out the group privacy settings, including blacklist!
WhatsApp Inc. is bringing updates for WhatsApp Group Privacy Settings and updated Blacklist settings to Android and iOS.
After rolling out a new group privacy setting back in April, WhatsApp has started testing the new features in other markets as well. But this time, WhatsApp has updated a few more feature.
New privacy setting on WhatsApp: you can select who can add you to a group.
Settings>Account > Privacy > Groups and select one of three options: “Nobody,” “My Contacts,” or “Everyone.”

How to Enable Whatsapp Group Privacy Setting
To enable the new Group Privacy Setting, go to Settings in your WhatsApp, then tap Account > Privacy > Groups.
Three options will be displayed on your screen namely “Nobody”, “My Contacts”, or “Everyone”.

- Update your Whatsapp to the latest version to get access to Group Privacy Setting feature and Blacklist options
- You need to update your WhatsApp version to the 22.214.171.124 iOS and 2.19.298 Android to try out the new features.
According to reports, Whatsapp will now introduce a new privacy setting that will help users decide who can add them to groups.
